It was the first time he'd ever seen his father, or at least, he's pretty sure it's the first time he's ever seen his father, although something about his voice feels familiar. Like an old memory tugging at the back of his mind, it feels fuzzy, like so many other memories recently have felt fuzzy, but that doesn't matter right now. A lot of things don't matter if you're standing in front of Hades.
He left Camp Half-Blood not too long ago, following a couple spirit guides who directed him towards the entrance. It was a hard journey and he hadn't slept much, but that didn't matter, not when the fury that burned now hot now cold in his chest kept him moving.
After saying his formal greetings and being largely dismissed, he still finds himself hovering in front of the throne, dark eyes peering up into his father's face, question burning on his lips. Because obviously it burns there, it's the one thing he's been thinking about since he left Camp.
"Where's my sister?"
