Radicle - and it’s pink! This is the embryonic root of Liatris punctata. I brought this tray in from the cold today and saw the seeds were already germinating. For me, that’s pretty close to instant gratification. This species of blazing star has deep roots to withstand drought. That and the plant’s relatively compact form make it a great Liatris for home gardens. And its radicle is pink!
