We’re in college now. You are 18 years old now. Did anyone tell you that you don’t have to act like a middle schooler anymore? No? Okay allow me: you’re a grown ass adult now, you can stop the drama. You can stop creating problems out of thin air. You can stop begging for attention. If you want to cry about it, go ahead. 18-25 is a tough age, you’re figuring a lot of things out. I just need you to figure out that you don’t have to be a bitch anymore to survive. You can let it go, drop the act. Worry about yourself and don’t drag anyone else into your web of drama. No one here is going to baby you, no one here is going to spoon-feed you and cuddle you until you feel okay again. No one is going to care if you cry at a taco bell at 2am. Additionally, if you are at this age and still can’t take an ounce of criticism, you better learn fast. Truly, you may think that you are exhausted from it all and you probably think you are the first person to ever discover this feeling on the planet, but I’m telling you right here, right now: nobody cares. It’s time to wake up, smell the roses, and gain some damn self respect and independence. I don’t care how many cheerleader meanies you depended on in high school, I don’t care about all the silly boys who let you down over the years, and I really don’t want to hear about it. Grow up, take a deep breath, and recognize that you don’t have to be like that anymore.
