I know sometimes I give the suburbs a hard time, but then I find stores like Terrain and pick up magazines like ‘countrystyle gardening’ and fall in love.

I cannot wait to have some sort of sprawling space in my backyard to create a wonderful flower and vegetable plot. My very own woodland fairy garden! And then I can host brunch in my backyard!

I can visualize it now - a long wooden picnic table amidst allies of colorful perennials and pastels. Mimosas out of mason jars, with fresh omelets and coffee. Wild Daisy Dining.

I’m reading about these garden sheds that have a living roof, which essentially makes the structure look like it’s growing as part of the landscape. Super cute. With the help of my design saavy bf, I think I can do enough research to plan something magical. I’m all over it.
