Sunshards Improvements
(OOC: Date [20-10-2016] Day[Thursday])
Dear diary…
Today must have been the worst out of the morning tasks so far. I had no issues with laps or making primitive axes, but washing the orc camps peons clothing has to be the most unpleasant thing so far. How they live like this I will never understand. Regardless the tasks were complete. It was a short while later I heard on the radio from Miss Sunshard. Apparently she managed to get herself locked in a cell after all. I spent the next ten minutes tracking the key down. It was found to be in Grualarrs hands. He said he had asked somebody to check all the cells and she had been locked in by accident. I then let her out. I brought up the fact that she would have missed on her duties, to which she informed she did her one hundred laps… around her cell. I knew she was trying to joke but regardless she had missed out on the morning instructions so I asked her to do a couple of laps to see how she would do. She seemed fine and Grualarr arrived. So I left her and Graularr speaking whilst I left to do something.
When I got back, Elder Sarues had arrived and was with the others. He put out the idea for what sort of training people were looking for, so I suggested maybe Miss Sunshard would want endurance training. We departed for a spar between Sarues and Aelathdrin caused by her inflated ego. Though not what I had in mind, it served as an opportunity to test how long she can go in a fight. She managed to beat the Elder and was almost about to spar me before some of her casual taunts towards Graularr lead him to call his wolf to him. He threatened to set it on her if she persisted, by which point I though the situation had got out of hand and spoke these thoughts to the others. However Miss Sunshard persisted and Grualarr set his wolf on her. I tried to disorientate the beats before it attacked, but Miss Sunshard was insistent she wanted to fight it. Graularr assured me he had full control over his wolf and she would not come to serious harm. Though this did not stop me from watching the beast closely.
To my surprise she managed to bring down the wolf also. So I walked over and started the spar whilst she was bragging. However she seemed to be focusing as I missed her face completely. She put up a surprisingly good fight, however in the end yielded to me. Out of the twenty plus times we have fought, that was her strongest one. She has improved more than I thought, however she also likes to run her mouth with taunts also. But credit was due, she did well so I told her this. She soon will be able to compete with me when we fight in training. However tiredness struck me slightly earlier that day so I left to rest. Finding sleep easily due to the work of that day.
Yours faithfully
Irelia Sunglance
