Marks family, Roaring Heights - #50

Welcome back to the Marks household! Years have passed and their household has definitely grown from last time.

Grumpo and Janet had two more children, both boys and vampires: Jed and Kenneth. They're both teens now and having some struggles with navigating high school life.

James is still a famous athlete, being the best in his chosen path. He's now engaged to his long-time boyfriend Wilhelm, and is gradually preparing for this exciting new chapter with him, with the support from his whole family.

The only daughter of the family Liliana has already moved out to be with her husband Tate Harbucks.

Marks family, Roaring Heights - #56

By the time the sun set, the ceremony started - they have to consider their vampire friends and family with the schedule, especially as the wedding's being held outdoors.

After the couple exchanged vows and rings at the stage, they're now pronounced husbands, and sealed the new chapter with a passionate dip kiss. What made the ceremony extra special was the glow of the full moon shining upon them - everyone knows that the full moon is considered special and powerful for the occults.

After the cake cutting, rain poured down on Roaring Heights, so the guests had no choice but to retreat inside. But, it didn't stop the newlyweds from having their first dance.

Marks family, Roaring Heights - #49

Vito was chatting with his family one morning, to finally share the news about his decision to move out of their home with Jordana. Even with Jordana feeling welcomed and happy being under the roof of the Marks’ large home, she couldn’t help but feel homesick and miss the company of her own family. So, she decided to move back in with the Capulets, and Vito fully supported her, and would go with her wherever she decides to go.

And since she’s a newly-transformed vampire, she also wanted to be with her family, besides her husband, during these more unknown and unexpecting first few weeks of her new life.

The family understood and gave them their blessing. This would be the first time the twins Liliana and Vito be separated from one another. They’ve been really closely-knit twins and best friends since they were little, and this move made her sad a little bit, but also happy because she knows Vito loves Jordana so much, and of course, they’re already married, so it makes sense.

Later in the afternoon, Vito got news from the Roaring Heights Town Council that he would be awarded there for his contributions in town as a firefighter, and for keeping everyone safe. On their way to the town hall, it started raining, but the ceremony continued on because everything and everyone was already set in place.

He was awarded with the key to the city, and that time, he instantly became headline on the news and a superstar. Everyone there was so proud of him, especially his own family.

Grumpo Marks

Grumpo Marks, the only remaining heir of the Marks clan’s wealth, is expected to be mature and act his age. But, it looks like his own children are doing a better job than him, an adult. He loves partying, performing, and just doing his own thing.

Marks family, Roaring Heights - #46

Jordana had been feeling the side effects of the vampire’s bite for the past few days, which were nausea and vomiting.

Meanwhile, the past few days for other members of the household had been ordinary. Liliana became a victim again of James’s last teen prank in their kitchen sink, and had been arguing with her father again on different topics. Grumpo had been helping Janet with her new gardening hobby by using his “bloom” fairy ability on them. Janet started hanging out and getting to know her daughter-in-law more lately.

One cold evening, Jordana’s time had finally come. Her metamorphosis became complete and she’s now a full-pledged vampire, just like her husband, in-laws, siblings, and father.

Marks family, Roaring Heights - #6

Vito responded to an emergency call from the Clyde’s Hideout, where their air-conditioning system broke down and brought the whole place and the people inside to freezing cold. After a few hours, he managed to fix it and everything’s back to normal.

Meanwhile, the rest of the household was just relaxing and doing their own thing at home.

The next day, Vito went to Tate Harbucks’s house to fight and solve the angry gnome invasion happening in his own yard.

Marks family, Roaring Heights - #27

The second attempt of James’s blowing of candles went well, no fire was started... and he’s finally a young adult and a full-pledged vampire. He gained the Genius trait (inspired by his older siblings’ common trait).

The whole party went well, everybody loved the food and the music from the Marks themselves, performed in their home stage.

Some also loved the dragon theme of the party, adding that the small fire that started while James was blowing his candles made the theme so realistic, like an actual dragon was hanging over them and spitting fire at them.

Sadly, Jordana wasn’t able to celebrate with them, as she’s stuck at her fortune-telling job. And when she arrived home, she’s so exhausted and went straight to bed.

Marks family, Roaring Heights - #47

Vito woke up during the early dawn to find his wife a full-pledged vampire.

Both of them couldn’t really explain and contain their emotions that time. The only thing they knew that time was that they’re so energized, hyped up, and everything’s like intense. Maybe because there’s also a full moon that time.

Love Day has arrived, and instead of the usual tradition of going to the Spring Festival (which they already did a couple of times) or throwing their own feast party, they accepted a house party invitation from Elmer Meyers and Alejandra Bernal, and spent their whole afternoon there until the early evening, to change things up a bit.

They got to socialize and hang out with their close friends. This was Jordana’s first time going out as a vampire, and her cousins Maria Nest and Matteo Capulet, who were also guests there, didn’t seem to notice.
