Lance was really grumpy in the first part of this episode and I can think of 3 reasons:

1. They just had a really exhausting battle and lost their home because Allura fell for Lotor’s bullshit. Yeah, Allura was excited to find someone who was part Altean and yeah Lance hated Lotor because they both liked Allura, but Lance also had legitimate reasons to distrust Lotor that everyone ignored because they both like Allura.

2. He feels guilty about not noticing Shiro was replaced by a clone and now real Shiro’s in clone Shiro and not doing well.

3. Keith has done nothing but stare at Shiro for probably several hours now and it’s great that you have feelings and all but we need a plan.
