🐾 A grumpy lioness 🐾
🐾🌴 Weeks ago on the plane ride home from Puerto Rico, I did a rough sketch of a mandrill on a lioness’s head. I had the mandrill pointing to the right with the lioness’s attitude towards the intruder obvious through her annoyed expression. It’s also very evident in this drawing as well. Somehow, the mandrill looks like King Louie and Rafiki morphed together. 🐾🦁🐒
🐾🌴 On the plane ride home on Monday, I drew some quick rough sketches to get new ideas for drawings. Other than doing drawings for the Bible stories at Second Union Church, I hadn’t done much drawing during my time in Puerto Rico. Sooner or later, I intend to do projects based what I saw and did as far as my volunteer work and sightseeing. 🦁🙉
