There are people calling the new Doctor “an insult to sci fi.” That’s funny. Science fiction, a genre invented by a teenage girl, partly inspired by her miscarriage. But sure you be offended by a female alien. Be all angry that “women are taking your show.” Dude, it’s our genre. (Everyone’s welcome here, of course. But like stop pretending like this space belongs solely to you.)
Look, I’m genuinely sorry that something you like is changing in a way you don’t like or understand. I know this change upsets and disappoints you and I’m truly sorry. But it’s been a year since the announcement. Go complain somewhere else. I’m so over your grumpy comments on every Doctor Who post and video. Like why are you putting so much energy into something you’re “never going to watch again?” I’m sorry you’re sad, but it’s time to be sad somewhere else now.
