A warm wind stirred the leaves scattered over the abandoned road. They swirled a short-lived dance before hitting an armored leg that shivered despite the day itself being warm. The leg shifted as it's owner, a wary Seeker, glanced side to side. There was nothing in the city that would of made her cautious. It had long since been abandoned. Not even the radiation was of great concern; a decontamination shower would of taken care of that.
Instead the Seeker's thoughts flickered back to Cybertron. Of the times near the end of the war before Decepticon and Autobot fled the planet. It reminded her far too much of the dying planet.
Every way she turned was overgrowth, disaster, or simple signs of abandonment. Vines were creeping up buildings. Grass broke through along the street edges and sidewalks. Rusting window frames; the glass long since shattered. Pieces of molded paper, of what hadn't decayed into nothing, littered the road in spots.
Nightfall's helm lifted up and she could see a Ferris Wheel rusted and unused. It was, what did the humans call it, the Prypiat Amusement Part. There was little amusement to be had within the park or anywhere within Prypiat itself.
"This. . . it fits. . ." The Seeker mumbled to the empty city. "Time to get this over with."
Raising a servo to an audial ornament on her helm, despite how useless the action was, Nightfall clicked on her com-link to quickly into a frequency she used only once before. With a short cringe, she sent a short message out. "Lord Megatron. I humbly request your presence. I will send you the coordinates for the groundbridge." Once the coordinates were transferred, the com-link cut off.
"Frag." Taking a last look around, Nightfall headed to one of the nearest buildings to climb to the top and wait for the leader of the Decepticons to arrive.
