Tastemade Co-Founder Joe Perez Honored by Goldman Sachs for Entrepreneurship
Three years ago, Joe, Larry and I started Tastemade to create amazing video experiences for a new generation of mobile consumers. This requires a culture of innovation and disruption, and we are honored to be recognized at the Goldman Sachs 2015 Builders & Innovators event.
Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) is recognizing Tastemade Co-Founder Joe Perez as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2015 at its Builders + Innovators Summit. Joe was selected as one of 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event in Santa Barbara, California. Joe has a distingusihed career in building technology and media-based online communities, working in Silicon Valley at Pogo.com (Electronic Arts), Excite@Home and in LA at Intermix Media/Myspace, Demand Media and now Tastemade.
"We are honored to recognize Joe Perez as one of the most intriguing entrepreneurs of 2015," said David Solomon, co-head of investment banking at Goldman Sachs. "This is an exciting time for entrepreneurs. This is the fourth year that we’ve hosted the Builders + Innovators Summit, and continue to be amazed by what happens when a diverse group of seasoned and emerging business leaders — the builders and innovators — come together to discuss how to drive innovation, create jobs and build enduring organizations."
Larry and I are thrilled to see Joe’s talents celebrated in this way. Congrats, Joe!
