A/N: This so shitty I’m sorry, this is my first time ever trying something like this, I’m super slow and I struggle to find words to express what I wan’t to say cause my foreign brain keeps switching back to FinnishWord count: 353

You’re not sure what made you fall for him.

Was it the way a smile would spread on his face, how intensehis brown eyes looked when he listened to you talk about your interests, makingit seem like you were telling him what is the meaning of life even though youwere only just explaining why you love Drake. The way he’d keep stealingglances, quickly tracing his fingers against your skin or the way your namesounded coming out of his mouth.

One thing was for certain, as you sat on his livingroomcouch leaning your head against your hand, watching some two star comedy youhad found from Netflix that you had lost interest in at the very beginning ofit, as the man sitting beside you had stolen all your attention. You couldn’thelp smiling as he kept laughing at dumb jokes with mouth full of microwave popcorn,glancing at you and pointing out how funny the scene was to him. Stealing aquick glance on his lips you felt your heart swell, warmth creeping up yourcheeks. You had fallen for him.

Without even realising you had spoken, the words slipped outof your mouth, not louder than a whisper. “I love you”.

You felt your stomach tighten out of pure nervousness as Alexturned towards you, smile clearly present on his face. “What did you just say?Sorry, I was too focused on the movie”.

A bitter sweet mixture of emotions spread through your bodyas you tried to keep your composure, acting as if you didn’t just say the threebig words.

“Oh, nothing. I just said that I’m sure there are muchbetter comedies we still haven’t seen out there”, you lied and put on a smilethat didn’t quite reach your eyes.

“I promise you that next time we’ll go to an actual movie teatherto see something that isn’t in my recommended because I watched Paul Blart:Mall cop. That’s what friends do right? Do things that are fun for both parties”,he said munching on more popcorn.

“Yeah”, you nodded. “That’s what friends do”.
