I even went as far to delete my account once and make a new one about 6 months later. Well this second time didn’t last long. That community is toxic. All they ever do is complain and bicker back and forth among each other. It’s always Single Player vs Online, it’s always Cockstar, the reason they don’t get a SP DLC is because of shark card sales, and the reason everything is so expensive with every update is because of shark cards and greed. Everything's an argument and nothing is ever good enough.
I know it’s like that for every fandom, but the Forums have nothing but that toxic shit.
Then the mods and staff on that site are just as bad. They block, ban, and reprimand only when they feel like it and against people they dislike. The first time I left the forums was because this shitty mod was harassing me and there’s not a lot you can do against a mod.
Then if you are banned or reprimanded you can’t plead your case.
Mods also love to delete comments and lock threads at their will.
I remember one of the threads was something like voting on personal vehicles. You post a picture, vote on the car above you then wait for someone to do the same. Well when they re-released the game on PS4/XB1/PC the thread got flooded with real life cars modded into the game and people in the thread were complaining about it, so the mods put it to a vote to allow those cars into the thread or not, it got a massive amount of people voting against letting them in and everyone wanted that stuff to be yanked and thrown into their own thread under the PC side, the mods threw out the poll, acted like it never happened, then one mod locked the thread and went and opened a new one himself.
That’s the kind of shit that makes me sick.
The site is good for getting info about leaks and what not but the community otherwise sucks and is just purely toxic.
