Favourite Colour: Green, since primary school!! (also an indicator of my 'tism apparently) before that was Purple

Currently Watching: Succession!! I stopped in S1 a couple months ago but my co-worker brought it up so now I'm back and obsessed

Last Movie: Pride & Prejudice. (The hand thing when she went into the carriage🫠) Matthew MacFayden being in both Pride and Prejudice and Succession blows my mind, he is two completely different people lmao! I completely forgot he was in both

Sweet, Savoury, or Sour: This week, sweet. I've been scoffing down Galaxy Cake bars but maybe usually savoury? It's 50/50

Currently Reading: Babel by R. F. Kuang. At chapter 3 or 4, it's about colonialism and language acquisition but there may be a twist and I'm intrigued to see what it is

Current Obsession: Succession😝 & getting rid of my hyperpigmentation once and for all, it's faded but stubborn so I'm using prescribed Azelaic Acid

Last Google: The TfL website, I left work at 8 tonight and the trains decided to stop working lol

Currently Working On: Drawing, writing and baking again. I've done none. There just never seems to be enough time and also my brain is seeing it as a task rather than a means of relaxing like it used to

Age you started playing The Sims? TL;DR in bold

I think around 7 or 8? My brother had the Sims 2 on his PSP (I miss those days) but we had so many games so I wasn't really hooked on it. I mostly used the PSP for Driver 76 lol. We ended up getting the PS3 a few years later and one day my brother came back with the TS3 for console, I remember him waving the bag and being like 'Jade look what I found!!' he had bought it for me to play so I could enjoy the PS3 too - he did that a lot - and literally from that day on I was hooked.

Favourite sim right now?

I have loads but I will forever love Leomie Skinner - my legacy Founder!!

The first ever family you played?

'The Langfords' - it was literally my simself and her man. Every save I did in TS3 the Langfords got a remake. Me with red hair (which I ended up having IRL for a couple years) and a sim called Andrew who was basically a Clark Kent dupe now that I think about it. But if we're talking base game - probably the Caliente's? I remember Dina's blonde hair vaguely

First Expansion Pack you ever got (any part of the game)?

I think Get to Work! I didn't even know DLCs were a thing when I was on console I was so content with base game

Things you would like added to the game? TL;DR in bold

So. Much. Mainly, something I'd think about making into a mod, is varied moodlets after woohoo! Energized, Focused, Bored etc. It can be so fun for gameplay. Even 'Sad' if they've cheated on a Soulmate or something. (If you're reading this and you want to steal it let me know)

I also feel like when a sim is moving households, especially into a rental, we should be able to see what that rental looks like. I make so many that sometimes I forget. Right now you only get to see floor by floor of the whole lot and I need a zoom in, we need something like Zoopla

Honourable mentions; grocery stores, the unit cap remover cheat back, sims being able to cook EVERY meal. The quality of the dish should depend on the sims skill because as a brit, I can tell you with certainty that Bangers and Mash is not a level 7 meal. And as a nigerian, jollof rice is way more complicated to cook in comparison to mashed potatoes, it takes skill and practice to perfect it. They never accurately place skill levels on meals so I think every meal should be available to cook - straight from the jump. So something like level 1 skill - poor meal, level 7 - excellent meal.

Favourite world?

Non-surprisingly, it might be Windenburg - and maybe also Sulani although I don't play there enough. She's absolutely gorgina and I use a screenshot of it as my desktop at work

Your 3 6 traits from the game?

Active, Perfectionist, Creative, Music Lover (?) & Bookworm. Adventurous, seasonly. I did use to be Hot-Headed (like @abbysimsfun!) & also Socially Awkward but not so much recently

What would have been your toddler trait?

Wild :)

1. Origins of your blog's name:

I moved here from instagram, I used to post there under 'simmoraa' but for the life of me I don't know where I got it from. I think it's like 'Jade, sim-more'-(a) lmao. And so I did. I wanted simmora but it was already taken there, now here I can live my truth

2. My "I'll always order this food":

Pizzaaaa. If it's dessert, crepes cause I'm obsessed with pancakes. (pizza and pancakes are my fave food) Or something with chicken involved, like wings or a kebab if I don't know what I want to eat

4. Current comfort movie, show, book:

Movie: Twilight or Hoodwinked. Pls don't even ask ahah

Show: I will always rewatch 'The Office'!! Literally every year

Book: Not sure that I have one because I tend to read psychological horrors, crime & murder mysteries. Nothing comforting about it lol but I am currently hooked on the Eddie Flynn series by Steve Cavanaugh. I've literally read a book a week, also this British crime series from Nadine Matheson - I read that one on my Kindle!! It's great

Sims is my constant hyperfixation to be very honest

Summer nights!!! Winter mornings. Both have a smell and it's heavenly

This is going to sound so weird but getting the random urge to take off everything because I'm overstimulated

Night owl but I can't be anymore because of work :( I'm also not naturally an early bird so I'm stuck in some weird in-between

12. If you work, what is your profession and do you like it:

I'm an interior designer (junior) and I love it! I was lucky enough to get hired after an internship I did and I started a month or two after graduating. So blessed to be here!

In primary school I found out my name is a shade of green, now I love every shade. Prior to that it was white, before that was gold, and then purple. in that order. (I was making important decisions in primary!)

Last Movie: 'The House of Flying Daggers'

I found it in my family's movie cupboard so me and my brother decided to watch it. we haven't finished yet lol, we went to sleep but it's quite interesting

Last Book: 'The Guest List' by Lucy Foley!!

I love a murder mystery. I think I enjoyed it but I can't tell if I read it too fast or I just want more. I can't put my finger on it but I suspect the latter. I might re-read it for clarity cause I got attached to the characters and now I want spin-offs of them & I'm definitely not satisfied with how it ended, it was such a 'Oh... really?' type of ending, which I literally guessed from the beginning as a joke and that bugs me. It's like the author cut things out to reach a word count. Which is a shame because I was so hooked! And then it abruptly ended. Rant over!!
