Ah, my sister and I are also going to make a big push to lose weight this year! Our lifestyles are... not the best. >.> Starting next month (so in a couple of days) she's going to be in control of our diet and calorie intake, and it's my job to put together the workouts we're going to do. You will always be a petite lupus to me, but there's nothing wrong with trying to be more healthy! Let's do our best together! Gambatte! XD
GAMBATTE!
Yeah, I just went to scale this morning when I woke up and it showed me that I got already 2 kilos off! I’m excited! Though I talked about my diet with my doctor and she was proud, but she also told me that my medication might not let me lose weight.
Hell yeah, dieting and exercising should help! I spent half of my weekly allowance yesterday to cauliflower, chicken, mushrooms, tomato, salad and such and now I only have 30 euros to last until next week. TTvTT
I do get an allowance from my grandpa, 150 euros each month but I’m buying a Nintendo 3Ds to my sister so my money is coming and going.
Aww...! I’ll always be Petite with my mind...! Thank you G, you’re such a sweetheart!
Hey Allie!
@gtridel:
So my sister and I are currently reading this book series called Otherland. It’s kind of like Ready Player One, in that it’s all about virtual reality and such (though at the risk of sounding biased I think Otherland is infinitely more complex and exciting)
Anyway, we were reading together last night when suddenly this happened, and I completely lost it. I thought you might get a kick out of the excerpt too. =p
_____
Jongleur flick through his other domains with increasing speed and found things to concern him in nearly every one: Dodge City, Toyland, Arden, Gomorrah, and many more, all seemed oddly off-kilter, as though someone had minutely changed the essential gravity of every virtual world.
The old man was grimly pleased that he had been startled awake by a nightmare, and that he had made this inspection as a result. These were not simply playthings, these worlds- they were the birth rights of his godhood, the fields of Paradise in which his immortality would be spent. It would not do to let things go to seed.
It was as he flicked through one of the last of his created worlds, a comparative back water based on a series of English comic stories from the era of his Young Manhood, that he saw the face that for so long he had hoped he might see, feared he might see.
The face was visible only for a moment, in the midst of a crowd of people in formal clothing, but the image flew to his eyes like an arrow. He felt his ancient heart begin to rabbit as it had when he dreamed; more faintly, he perceived his real body thrashing slowly in it’s restraining harness, disturbing the thick fluids that surrounded it. He stared, forgetting for a moment that he could leap through the view and into the scene, to clutch and catch, but even in that moment of hesitation, the face vanished.
He flung himself into the simulation, snatching the first Sim his system offered, but the one he had sought for so long, as if sensing his approach, had already fled the large room and dashed out the door into the crowded streets, there to disappear. He followed but it immediately became clear there were too many people in the way, and too many avenues of escape. Pursuit was hopeless.

Bertie Wooster, Tuppy Glossop, and the other members of the Drones Club were more than a little startled by the appearance of a seven-foot polar bear in the middle of their annual dinner dance and charity fundraiser.
Discussion of the phenomenon was intense, and calls for bar service were immediately doubled. Several of the fairer sex (and, it had to be admitted, one or two of the manly contingent) went so far as to faint. But even those who had taken in the spectacle with a jaded eye, jiggling neat Scotch not one whit on its Journey mouthword as the pale Intruder galloped roaring across the floor and knocked half the band flying (gravely wounding a clarinet player in the process,) found themselves indescribably disturbed when the polar bear fell onto its knees just outside the door in Prince Albert Road and began to weep.
:D
RIDEL. LISTEN.
THIS IS FABULOUS.
(Pictured: Bertie Wooster when a polar bear walks into his club.)
I couldn’t be more honored that I’m the person who springs to mind in the event of an unexpected Drones Club cameo and I’m putting this series on my radar now because I HATED Ready Player One it sounds amazing!
When @gtridel inspires you to draw the problem child
97 and 72 with Anakin and Luke (not as a couple though? Is that allowed?)
(Technically these prompts are really set up for a couple, but just this once I’ll let it through)
Hmm...Time Travel and Stranded on a Desert Island.
I actually don’t have anything for this! I think the problem is that it would essentially be a “meet, hide identity from each other, bond, then go your separate ways” kind of thing. Pretty much all character driven - the desert island setting promotes that but tends to hinder more expansive plots. And I don’t have a clear idea as to what exactly they’d discuss - it’s not like Vader and Luke where there’s a conflict to resolve, the whole “change the future” thing is a possibility but honestly I can’t think of any interesting way of doing that that couldn’t be done with a different setting, and resolving emotional turmoil/love lives doesn’t quite seem to fit either...
My apologies, this one appears to be just TOO open for me to work out what I’d do! I’m sorry to disappoint you :(
“Magical!”
art trade with @gtridel she wanted tilda and gala being magical girls together!
Another art trade I did with the homie.
she wanted Swerve and Rung baking Gala a cake for the first time! I believe based off the show Nailed It, So did they nailed the cake?
Well the face is kinda droopy, but Gala loves it!
Bonus @gtridel on the bottom left corner congratulating my girl on being four years old.
Yandere For You Gtridel
reminisceI guess I have to describe myself? (I’ve never done a matchup before) Let’s see… She/her pronouns, Asexual but open to relationships. I don’t know what my sign is, so we’ll have to skip that.
Freckles and short Auburn hair (though I like to dye it other colors whenever I’m feeling particularly stressed). Kind of on the chubby side. I have a desire to be affectionate/nurturing towards everyone? But due to some childhood trauma, I’m constantly afraid that I’m bothering people, so I also have a tendency to shut down/isolate myself before I accidentally annoy anyone (I’m working on getting better about this). I like to draw, listen to music, read, and watch movies in my spare time.

It starts as a crush. Tailgate knows you have someone in your heart, but you’re so nice to him, to Cyclonus that he starts to wonder if ~they could be the one for you. When Ratchet leaves he sees how hurt you are. You help everyone and are there for anyone needing your attention, but there’s a sparkle gone from your eyes and it’s replaced by longing.
Despite hurting, you’re so kind and nice to Tailgate and Cyclonus, that the minibot can’t help but develope harder, more solid feelings towards you. Maybe he could be what Ratchet was to you? Tailgate tries to bring you with him to Swerve’s bar to spend time with him and Cyclonus and you agree because you’re their friend, but this is the first step for Tailgate’s crush for you to grow.
He sees how you start to isolate yourself out of sadness and he can’t allow that to happen to you. So he asks you to spend time with him, playing the lonely card on you and you take the bate like it’s your lifeline.
Tailgate is very eager when it comes to you and everyone can tell it. When you two talk he is like a young spark fresh out of the field of sparks. But Tailgate was made cold and almost immediately ended down underground. He can’t handle all these feelings for you and it’s taking an unhealthy approach.
He starts to seek you out exclusively and you open up for him because Tailgate is kind and loving, but you fail to see how he starts to wedge himself everywhere in your schedule. Cyclonus sees this and approaches Tailgate about it, but the minibot fails to see the wrongness in his actions. He is just being a good friend for you so why is Cyclonus telling him he is doing the wrong thing?
When Getaway comes in the picture he makes promises to Tailgate, made up ways how he could win you over if he just did this and that and poked around Megatron’s helm with long needless. Tailgate doesn’t really understand how those things connect, but he is sold when Getaway says that you will fall into Tailgate’s arms after what he does to Megatron.
Things don’t go as planned, there is a maniac killer on the loose and Tailgate thinks Cyclonus is dead because he shielded him from all those gunfires. Tailgate gains superpowers and takes care of the maniac killer and Ultra Magnus captures Getaway and all his accomplishes so you should be safe again, right?
You’re there when Cyclonus and Tailgate try to mend their relationship and Tailgate is sure that you are the glue holding them together but Cyclonus doesn’t see it that way. He tells Tailgate that your organic spark belongs to someone else and poor Tailgate can’t see it. Not until they’re stranded on Necroworld and you see Ratchet for the first time in months.
Tailgate can feel his spark shattering when he sees you smile at Ratchet and there is such longing in your eyes and the minibot hasn’t seen you look anyone like that, even him. Cyclonus can’t help, he is busy making sure they will all survive DJD’s oncoming attack, but that’s when Tailgate sees it first time himself how you hold Ratchet to you like he would have held you.
Tailgate sees past his love and strives for your happiness and the first step on that is to make sure you all survive and it’s you that Tailgate thinks in the middle of the battle. Not everyone survives, you lost Ravage and Skids, but you’re alive. You’re not in Tailgate’s arms but in Ratchet’s and as much as that hurts him, Tailgate is happy for you.
Cyclonus approaches Tailgate after everything and tells him how he made a grown-up decision and is proud of him. The words take time to register and make the minibot happy, but when Ratchet approaches Tailgate to thank him, he is confused. Why? Ratchet tells the little bot how you told him how Tailgate was always there for you and Ratchet appreciates it.
There is a hint in the old doctor’s speech that he knows Tailgate’s feelings for you were deeper than friendship, but he doesn’t bring it up and neither does Tailgate. After receiving the doctor’s gratitude, Tailgate lets go and slumps against Cyclonus. The former Decepticon holds Tailgate close like minibot would have held you if given the chance.
“If you love her you let her go,” Cyclonus says and Tailgate doesn’t fully understand the meaning behind the words, but if they’re coming from Cyclonus then they must be right.
