5A. systematically and critically engage with evidence to reflect on and refine their practice
JUSTIFICATION:
This piece of evidence shows student responses to a survey I used as a DO NOW at the beginning of a lesson. It was a Google Survey about the individual progress of each student. From the results I was then able to reflect and refine my own teaching in order to fill in any gaps and to assist my students in their own art making.
I also reflect on my lessons and use this as a springboard for planning my subsequent classes. I aim to have informal feedback constantly and consistently throughout my teaching. My process is constantly reflective; whether it be through conversations with students and colleagues, to personal reflections, and tools such as surveys and formative feedback.
