I bought this gorgeous duvet cover at a thrift shop years ago. Whoever made it had a great eye for color and texture, but knew diddly squat about proper fabric choice because these loose woven fibers are the worst for patchwork . Every time I wash it, some of the squares separate and I handstitch them back together. Some of the squares have completely unravelled and have to be patched now. At least it's nice to look at while I work on it.
