The pork ribs are glazed with a sweet and sour guava sauce that tastes great. They are perfect for a barbecue.
Ingredients: 2 racks of pork ribs. 1 cup guava paste. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, grated. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Salt, to taste.
Instructions: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the ribs with salt and black pepper. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine guava paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, apple cider vinegar, and vegetable oil. Stir until the guava paste is melted and the ingredients are well combined. Remove from heat. Place the ribs on the preheated grill and cook for 30-40 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. During the last 15 minutes of grilling, baste the ribs with the guava glaze, turning and brushing every 5 minutes until the ribs are glazed and caramelized. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve the Guava Glazed Ribs with any remaining glaze on the side. Enjoy!
