The bitter weather raged without any sign of ceasing; Shielder’s palms rubbed against her arms at a pace she could only wish matched the winds. Trekking across the deserted streets and plazas had grown more difficult as time progressed.
And she had imagined it madness from the chill and desperation to see an end to the awful conditions that she had seen the bright hair of her Master whipping as wildly as her own.
A figment of her imagination; embodiment of her resolve. Gudako had vanished from the city, and it had left a great void inside of her.
But something lured her forward; like giving into the hallucination.
Who said she wasn’t real? Shielder’s pace picked up, beating back the toll which had been upon her before, voice holding as much returning power in grasping maybe the loosest strands to hold on hoping.
“Se-- Senpai?”
