Wow this is harder than it should be hmmmm I'm going to say EDI because despite the sexualisation she was subjected to in ME3 I loved her sense of humour and her dignity and her joy in life

Faraday from the Wayfarer Chronicles because wow even her author hated her and treated her like crap and the torture and violence and sexual abuse heaped upon her across the six books were appalling. What's worse is that my teenage self totally bought into it and agreed with the narrative and believed she did deserve it all because she was a ~silly eighteen year old girl~

i've heard both good and TERRIBLE things about the Dragon Age book series to the point where i have not bothered purchasing because i fear for my feels... what to dooo?

my general stance is they're not GOOD, but they're Dragon Age and therefore I'm helpless to resist, basically.  Pretty trope heavy and predictable, not terribly progressive in their treatment of female characters, prose is not that great.  But sometimes you learn interesting lore and plot stuff, and if that's important to you and you don't want to read a summary, then yeah I think they're worth reading.  I think Asunder particularly had reference to some interesting cannon stuff, although I bet that will all come out more in DAI so you'll probably be filled in soon anyway if you don't want to bother.

but the 'stay 80000000000 miles away from hannibal lecter' tag changes like every time i say it because i just add more zeroes depending on HOW FAR YOU NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM HIM so that one is kinda hard
