Cipher @ Chester: "Hello there, mushroom man! Haven't seen Shiinotic for quite some time ... last encounter was back at Kalos." He says giving Chester a wave. "Although you seem to look... different. Hope I'm not being rude or anything but is this normal for 'mons like you around here?"
“Woah that’s wild, man! We are usually from Alola. Kalos is a creuset of mons from all over, but still to think mons from Alola managed to find a home over there... It’s so cool. I wonder what they call big groups of pokemon over there. Could you answer that?”
Chester paused when the psychic type asked why he looked different. He did not look actually different, but he figured what this meowstic meant was why does he act different, which he actually knew was his intention. Still, he wanted to play with his initial wording.
“Well, to answer your question, let me ask you another question: was the shiinotic you saw a hybrid? Because I look like a standard shiinotic.” The grass type snorted and positioned his arms as if he was presenting himself, which given how high he was now, felt like he was moving in slow motion.
“I’m a normal looking shii on th’ outside. Although, if you look internally, I’m a little different.” Chester pushed his finger against his own mushroom cap, which squished in and caused a few spores to come from his head.
“Ya see... I’m not immune to my own spores. Grass types tend to be immune to their own... supply, you could say,” Chester chuckled when he said that. “Which is why I tend to act different from most shiinotic. But it’s all good! I tend to be more calm and relax’n so, it’s not all bad!”
