Nah, a few people have asked but it’s not once been something I’ve seriously considered. I have a pretty nicely paying job (I’m just scrimping a bit now cos I’m tryna save up for a deposit to buy a house). Hell, the fact that I’m in a position where I’m confident I can probably buy a house in a few years in this generation (providing I can stop needing to dip into my savings to avert various short-term crises) means I’m definitely not struggling for cash.Plus, and really this is my main reason, I don’t make enough main content to justify having one. I released only 4 YT videos in the past year, and all 4 of them were shitposts. My last “real” video was last Halloween, and I plan to release a late “real” video this Halloween, so I’m averaging at barely 1 proper video per year. And I’ve been working on this album for what, 4 years? I’m definitely not taking money for something so sporadic, especially when I have no intention of leaving this job so having donations wouldn’t increase my workflow (plus, if anything, the pressure of being paid for my content would stall me even more)Oh, unless you were mainly referring specifically to me having my bank account stolen - don’t worry, I got it all back in the end. It was a stressful period, especially the terrible timing of also failing my MOT (turns out walking into a bank with a stolen account and asking to withdraw a large sum of money for a car is VERY suspicious, especially when you - a chubby bearded man - hand them an ID with a picture from like 7 years ago when you were thin and smooth as a baby twink).
