➸ GUIDANCE
MATERIALISM
If you had an unlimited supply of money, what would you buy? How much would you give away?
This is probs one of the easiest questions I’ve ever had to answer in guidance and my answer is probs gonna be so predictable and corny, but it’s the truth. If I had an unlimited supply of money, I would totes give it all away or as much as I could. I’ve been blessed my entire life with always being comfortable. Sure times were harder than others but I always had a roof over my head, even if it was a grass roof, and I was always fed, and I always had the love of my family and friends. I’ve seen so many people around the world, people that me and my family helped, that had it so bad and just having money would have made such a difference. I know we’re taught that money doesn’t make us happy, but in certain situations, it’s the difference between life and death. I would first make sure that no one in the world ever has to be hungry again. I would make sure that everyone has clean drinking water. I would then make sure that everyone has a home to call their own. Then I would make sure that everyone who’s sick has access to medicine and would make sure those who are trying to find cures would have all the resources they needed. I would put the rest of the money towards trying to fix the things in our system that’s broken, like the auction houses and putting an end to slavery. There’s a lot I want to do but if I could do at least some of that, I would be very proud of myself and the decisions I made.
