115/365: My friend August Lehman who has the site GuideToWoodworking sent me another crate of inspiration that arrived today. There is an incredible selection of aluminum extrusions. I will use some extrusion to now finish my table saw sliding table since the aluminum deck plate I tried did not work out. The large piece of steel plate under the casters is a 3/8" piece of 4140. I am going to shape a chisel similar to my Bahco Ergo and harden it afterward from the 4140 with a little piece of it. There are also some really cool cast iron beds from old machines that will make great work surfaces. A big box of nuts, bolts, bearings, machined parts and shafts to let my imagination soar. Two motor driven impeller collector/blowers. But the best item is the smallest, a 1970's era Mitutoyo 1" micrometer. Pics of all this stuff to come.
