he was worn out, that was for sure. it wasn’t like chirithy to call him out on it either since there was always work to be done. balance to be maintained. people to protect. he can’t help but reach out to pet the feline on the top of the head gently. ❛ maybe yer right. i’ve been pushin’ it for the last couple hours. ❜ it wasn’t like angels needed to sleep, but there was a reason why his kind didn’t choose to stay on earth often. mental fatigue was real. he needed to shut off for awhile even if he couldn’t properly sleep. not the same way as humans at least. ❛ alright, alright... you win. ❜
