Sunstone Co. is looking for able bodied recruits!
You walk through the streets of Ratchet and see a rather tall stocky older female tauren speaking rather friendly with both members of the Alliance and Horde alike. Her deep feminine voice switches almost seamlessly between Orcish and Common as she speaks appropriately to those around her.
“Well met brothers and sisters. If you need goods protected or bandits taken care of, look no further than the honorable warriors of Sunstone Company. Or if you are looking for work with good pay with only the goal to make Azeroth a little safer, no matter what color flag they fly. Speak with me.”
Sunstone Co is just starting out with plans to be a medium-rp guild with an IC NEUTRAL company of able bodied men and women taking on jobs to benefit the community. As a group we will travel to various out posts taking on jobs were they come, all with a Chaotic Good alignment. Mercenaries with a conscience, if you will. We’ll kill bandits, monsters, protect trade caravans and even seek out treasure if it suits us.
Honestly, cross faction rp is my jam and I’d love to find like minded people looking for a roleplay guild that is open to that. Interestingly this concept was in the process way before I knew BfA was going to be our next expansion. So I can expect in the upcoming expansion Bear’s company might be labeled traitors. I plan to be working with Ogrimskar and his band of mercs The Brotherhood of Valor on Alliance as allies. I hope to gain more allies in the future however!
What will events be like?
Our campaigns will be all open world. We will spend time traveling to destinations, taking up contracts there or along the way. We’ll even venture in dungeons or old ruins to fund our company. If you look at the Magical Mercantile guild page you’ll see how I dm events. They will most likely be evening events starting with one major event each week and casual social events through out the week.
Are you… part of the Horde?
Yes and no. Your boss, Skamato ‘Bear’ Sunstone has fought many years in the Horde army and she would never betray them. But she also has spent many of those years working under the Argent Crusade. Who fight for Azeroth, not blue or red. She is vehemently against Sylvanas and believes the pointless fighting only weakens the races. The Sunwalker has always fought for the people, not a banner.
How strict are you on Lore?
You know, lore is malleable. As long as your character makes sense in the universe that is world of warcraft, who am I to police you? I myself, even playing for 11 years, don’t know every piece of lore. Now if you roll up with a cyborg from space or some kid that got teleported here from Kansas… eh… I’m sorry, this isn’t the guild for you. New role players and all races are welcome! I’m willing to teach what lore I know and give guidance if it’s wanted.
