[Aesthetic Request; Pacific Rim OC; Ming Yuan] [Requested by @guiltyphandiot ] [FC: Soo Joo Park]

Newt’s best friend in the whole world is his tattoo artist, Ming Yuan. Tattoo artist, drag racer, motorcycle enthusiast, roller derby league member, DJ, and second in the BVR line-up, Ming became friends with Newt when he moved to Boston to attend MIT. They met at a midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, where Ming convinced him to be Brad in their shadow cast. The rest is history.

Guys there is so much going on with this beautiful human I didn’t even know where to start. Honestly just ask Jude ( @guiltyphandiot ) because Ming has been my Newt muse’s BFF since basically day one. She’s perf.

It’s been almost two years (December 3rd) since I made my first aesthetic, which was the Newmann Hunger Games AU I share with Jude ( @guiltyphandiot​ ) Two years later, I still love my boys and I wanted to revisit this territory and make each of them an individual aesthetic (and who knows, maybe I’ll rehash the ship one as well?). [Pacific Rim Ship Aesthetic; Newmann Club Kids AU]: In the late 80s/early 90s, the night life in New York City began to explode with a new movement that would later be known as the Club Kids. After asking to live with his mom rather than move to Boston, Newt stumbles into the scene and life is never the same. No age limits, no boundaries, no rules. There he meets Hermann, who has escaped from his father into the world of drugs, outrageous parties, and freedom. But when that world starts to crumble around them, the two realize that blood-soaked and covered in glitter is still blood-soaked.

Jude ( @guiltyphandiot​ ) and I watched a documentary about Michael Alig and the Club Kids scene last night (nothing new but still super interesting) and we got to discussing what a Club Kid AU would look like for Hermann and Newt. This was the result. Hope you like it, babe <3
