Betty, PASA!... Carlos GUINDON!

Betty, PASA!.....Betty, PASA!... Estas palabras fueron repetidas por mi padre (acompañadas por una risa silenciosa, o mejor dicho carcajada, si es que vale el término) durante toda mi niñez y adolescencia, cada vez que nos sentábamos a comer en familia. Así llamaba a mi madre a que se sentara con nosotros, pues ella aún se mantenía en la cocina acabando algún detalle, y dado que eramos una familia de 7 integrantes, siempre había algún detalle por acabar.

La frase no tendría absolutamente nada de raro, salvo por el “doble sentido” que le daba mi padre al mencionarla para jugarle una broma a mi madre, refiriéndose a que era lo más similar a una pasa, aquella fruta seca de dulce sabor, pero de apariencia bastante (y en serio, bastante) arrugada. Todos en la mesa echábamos a reir en ese instante por varios segundos y algunas veces minutos (aun ahora no puedo aguantar la risa de sólo recordarlo), sobre todo por la entonación y énfasis que daba mi madre en su respuesta inmediata: CARLOS GUINDÓN!.

En mi infancia definitivamente fui feliz, y no por lo material que haya tenido, pues tuve poco, pero si por momentos como este (y que fueron varios) que los recuerdo siempre con mucha alegría. Lástima que uno entienda tarde las riquezas que tuvo. Mi vida ahora se centra en tratar de dar a los míos momentos como ese.

don’t get me wrong i’m still hyped because literally anything nd does i’ll bend over backwards for, but they’re going to have to do a lot to explain this away because there’s very little capacity in which nad.ine and chl.oe would work together just given what it is they do. I can see it maybe if the events are meant to take place before the events of uc4, like before nadine meets rafe?? but after the fact, like, chloe is not so secretly a treasure hunting thief and nadine makes it really clear she’s had enough of those types so idk. i’ll play the realistic pessimist card here and say that, i’m excited, but i’m keeping my expectations low so that i’m not disappointed if it turns out to be kind of shitty
