My guitar string has been like this for more than 6 months. Gonna buy new strings soon :)

For as long as I can remember I’ve listened to my dad’s music, I clearly remember being 5 years old listening to Thin Lizzy and lots of 70s rock bands without even knowing the words as they were not in Danish. My dad used to tell me how badass Joan Jett was and how she told society that girls CAN do whatever they want, whenever one of her songs came on. And that always stuck with me, I guess more than I realised. When I was a teenager I discovered The Runaways and played ‘Cherry Bomb’ for my dad and he was shocked that his little girl was now teaching him about music. When I turned 25 he gave me this bracelet made from Joan Jett’s guitar strings and it’s such a cool, meaningful gift that I’ve been wearing it ever since.

here's a lil tip for beginners... (guitar)
IF Y'ALL ARE RE-STRINGING YOUR GUITARS, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF "SETTLING"
The strings on your guitar needs to know your guitar well!! And if you just start playing it without letting it rest, then it will snap! A google search will let you know that acoustic guitars will need 1-2 hours of settling, and classical guitars need 48 hours.
Also, if you re-string a used string on the guitar, it will sound horrible. Trust me. It will sound good if you pluck each one individually but the moment you strum it... it will actually sound just as okay as it is. But you will notice something is wrong. It's almost a bit weird, like how you can feel a bit of tension on each string despite it being loose.
Do not reuse strings. Unless it's necessary which what I did.
