This is Admin Sirena with my last post on the main. Gulf Shores is officially a CLOSED group after almost eight months. Gulf did not start out the way I wanted, but I could not have asked for a better end result. We are so blessed with our current members!! It is not the end of Gulfs, but I gotta say, it’s been a dream, y’all. Thank you so much.

After discussing our plans for the future -- which include focusing more upon our studies since college is very taxing -- Sirena & I have decided that after almost EIGHT long months, we will be making Gulf Shores a closed group. This means we encourage our current members to continue RPing, but that also means there will be no activity checks -- you may come and go as you please. This also means there will be a lack of tasks & events, but those can easily be planned by members now, rather than just Sirena & I. We both have been planning to leave the RPC soon, but we also realize so many people adore their characters -- we couldn’t close down entirely and leave you all shafted. With that being said, those in the tags have until MONDAY AUGUST 23 to apply for our open characters & be a part of Gulf Shores before it runs without promotional posts, new members, & activity checks. On TUESDAY AUGUST 24, Gulf Shores will officially be a closed group. We understand if you will no longer want to be a part of Gulf, but that’s why we leave it up to you to either stay or go. I will most likely be around until the end of this month & Sirena a believe a little before the end of the month. It’s been a pleasure -- an absolute honor -- to RP with all of you. You are all amazing & talented writers -- and for those that have been in Gulf for months, it’s been a privilege to watch where you have taken your character. We’re both thankful for Gulf’s success & to have met you all along the way -- we didn’t expect Gulf Shores to last this long, and are still in shock by its success. Thank you all so much for everything, and we hope you’re not too perturbed by our decision. We love you all!!

P.S. if you want to take up another character because of lax activity, we encourage you to do so! Just message Sirena or I on AIM.

Also, we ask that if you’re going to use our characters in a 1x1 or indie (if and when the closed group dies down), you must ask permission first. We’ve had past members take our characters for 1x1 or even put the characters in other RPs without asking, which we would like to avoid. Thank you!!

Just a heads up, Vito’s last name is no longer Vanderbilt, but Chatillon to match Chloe’s backstory/Vtio’s origins! And his parents’ company’s name is now ChatHayes. Also, Sirena & I will be making a very big & important announcement tomorrow that will effect both members & the tags.
