Late night Rayman 3 hcs for the soul since that's the 3D game I know more about-
- King Lum, otherwise known to many as King Lumine, is not only the king and father of all lums (no duh) but is the one and only André. He's somewhat in the same situation as Ales, but he chose not to take Jano's offer of the spell "The Great Splitening". Unlike Ales, having two separate versions of himself could be catastrophic for the Glade of Dreams.
- King Lum is the only lum who is able to shift their own form. He can shift into the form of a tiny fairy. André never knew about this form until Mr. Dark, with the help of Razorbeard and The Mechanic, revived him in Legends (that's another for another day).
- Speaking of Dark... he's the reason why André exists. While he was preparing his massive takeover of the Glade and Canva, he began experimenting with the "Jitterbug" or better known as the power of the nightmares. His big break came when he decided to test his magic on someone... that someone being King Lum. While it is certainly true that scaring a lum can dim their light, it is the combination of mental torture that drives them mad and turly turns them into a black lum. This is the process Mr. Dark put Lumine through, and as we all know, it proved successful... perhaps a little bit TOO successful...
- There are two big roles and comes to ruling the Center Kingdom (where the Fairy Council is). The role of Grand Minimus, who is the king of not only the Center Kingdom, but second-in-command of the Fairy Council, and overall ruler of the ENTIRE Glade. And the role of Grand Maximus, the messenger of the Bubble Dreamer. You become the Maximus after you have served as the Minimus.
- Minimus and Otto are childhood friends! Otto had to usually take care of many, MANY of Minimus' injuries and wounds...
- Speaking of which, I want Minimus and Murfy to have a bit of bigger role in the story so the build-up towards their roles and Origins and Legends feels good. Thus, Minimus and Murfy drive the ship that takes you to where Reflux and André go at the end of the game! It'd be cool if they'd help in the shoot-em-up section; Murfy carries Minimus as he shoots the people in the front with cool magic, and Rayman shoots the people in the back!
- Speaking of Murfy, wanna learn some cool things about the Greenbottle species? In the world of Rayman, fairies are basically the angels of the world. They look upon the Glade above the clouds, but only a few have the honor of living with the people themselves. The highest honor a fairy can have (besides being part of the almighty Fairy Council) is getting their wings, which is earned through trial, tribulations, and hard work. Greenbottles are basically high-ranking angels (think archangels, perhaps?). They are the closest servants to Polokus, being the ones who send messages from him to the Grand Maximus and heroes when danger lurks. Some are also royal right-hands/royal advisors of the Grand Minimus and Maximus, which is basically like being second-in-command of the entire Glade. They are born with their wings, though they can "ascend" and gain new ones if they prove themselves worthy to Polokus.
- Murfy comes from a very lucky family of greenbottles who get to serve the teensy ruler. He is the royal advisor for Minimus (although he tends to piss him off a lot). Murfy has a very strong desire to ascend and prove his worthiness to the Glade (and Minimus, especially Minimus).
- Murfy is smart, but also, too, a smartass.
- Listen I like Minimus x Murfy okay-
- Polokus, wanting to help in Murfy's goal, gifted him with the Book of Prosperity after the events of Rayman 2 (a.k.a, the manual). The Book of Prosperity holds all the knowledge of the Glade now, then, and soon-to-be. The book tends to have signals when something new has been added or danger will soon add a whole new chapter to the world's story (which is code for "go get Rayman cause shits about to go down"). Murfy treats that thing like his child and enjoys the present dearly.
Though he could've sworn it said something about him dying pretty soon.
- Little bit of a change for Art to avoid stinky stereotypes. I like to imagine that the Knarren are the next-door neighbors of the Dijiridoos. Wind magic is of common use for the two. When the three doctors do group therapy, there's some flute in there that none of them pays, so Art is gonna play some type of medical flute now. He still focuses on head stuff; he uses the wind magic and the music of the flute to go through the head cavity and have the music lead anything that's not supposed to be in there out. He's one of the very few people who BOTH the Knarren and the Dijiridoos fw. He is usually the doc on duty for many of the battles there (that is, if Relux doesn't kill everybody). The rest I'd probably have to explain once I make a proper design for him, but I hope that makes sense for now! 👍👍👍
- Gumsi fucking HATES Mockingbird. Turns out, Gumsi main way of combat is through biting people like the gremlin child he is (seriously, where are your parents man?)
- Betilla is the current head of the Fairy Council! The other siblings are too part of the council and are the representatives of each of their respective lands.
- Okay one more hear me out Reflux x André
