Maybe it's Because I'm going maternal but let's be real, I was like this before. I'm actually HUGE brainimg myself here like, Sage trying to be like "oh Orbot and Cubot are like my brothers" because she has limited capacity at this point for understanding structures, meanwhile these two have been active much longer and are far more adapted to "human" qualities that they just look at her like "this is our niece", sometimes having extreme case moments where they're like MY BABY and look out for her like parents.

I've seen so many fan arts of people having their own OCs be adopted by Orbot and Cubot, I just think that this is an absolute shoe in!!! Forget the whole "Eggman created us so we're all in this one lineup" and instead, Sage is taken care of mostly by Orbot and Cubot. I mean. I love Eggman but I also know how bored he gets with stuff like that so quickly, I can definitely see him dumping main care priorities to the two nannies I MEAN butler bots.

Luckily she's not a REAL kid, so they don't have to worry about feeding her... right???

yesterday we were at the queer bookstore and i saw the word “launts,” like lesbian aunts, paired with guncle. today we asked our preschooler what she thought about it and like. should we call our queer aunties quants? and without missing a beat this child was like

Got my hands on a physical copy of Michael Dumlao’s authorial debut, The Wisdom of Guncles! Not pictured: me literally crying like a baby while flipping through the book. Seeing my drawings in published print for the first time ever is more exciting than I can say, and I want to thank Michael again for reaching out to give me this opportunity, and more importantly, for trusting me to help realize his creative vision.

Thank you to all the Guncles who shared their incredible and emotional stories with Michael and me and allowed us to depict them on the page. I could not be more humbled and proud to be a part of this project. Here’s a little taste of the art of the book; I’ll be posting high-res versions of the whole Guncle Pantheon soon, so stay tuned!!

The Wisdom of Guncles is about the unique role queer folk fill within their families, especially for their nieces, nephews, and niblings. The book is a collection of real-life stories from a diverse group of actual guncles, meant to impart wisdom that applies to the broader human experience.

Headcannon: Zuko and Sokka are the cool uncles all the Gaang kids go to.

Zuko is the uncle the Gaang kids go to when they need advice or a place to calm down. He Uncle Iroh's all the kids. But if you need to be bailed out of jail, Uncle Sokka is where you at.

They eventually set up a phone number, where press one for Uncle Zuko's advice time or press two for get out of jail free with Uncle Sokka
