I’ve been thinking about fatherhood in Gundam recently. How Tem Ray created every component of the Gundam, how Zeon Deikun’s son died trying to live up to the mythic figure his father left behind, how Franklin Bidan drove his son father away than anyone could reach, Hayato Kobayashi getting his son through one war only to lose him in the next, Cardeas Vist’s acts of love only causing his son pain and of course, Bright Noa carving a bloody path through other people’s sons and unknowingly pushing his son into a cockpit. Fathers building their sons’ coffins and indirectly burying them.
Haro hasn't seen a lot of Gundam cosplay at conventions lately, so this post was neat! (okay, there was that one. And the other. But not a lot)
Now I’m done with Unicorn and what can I say? The amount of crying I did was unreal. It ripped my heart out filled it with hope and stuffed it back in. I’m so glad the unicorn survived in this fairy tale.
Bright had some great moments at the end, and Banagher, and Mineva/Audrey are adorable. Slot Riddhe in there and you have my new OT3.
I don’t see why people like Full Frontal so much, the empty vessel clone thing is interesting but done better in my opinion with Marida.

There being just enough Ple clones to lose track of individuals and not explicitly killing all of them on screen really lends itself to having an easy source of legacy relevant powerful newtype whenever you want one.
To the point it's surprising we don't have a Jedi survivors of order 66 situation where there ends up being so many it starts to feel unreasonable.
It would be so easy to have a clone pop up that it probably just speaks to ZZ's unpopularity that they don't.
As I approach the end of Turn-A, I'm tempted to jump forward to Unicorn because I know from fandom osmosis that Ple comes up somehow there.
Or maybe I'm just dreading the oncoming 100 episodes of SEED in my chronological watch through...
