think about how affected jean was by three weeks of having to help riko torture and abuse neil & now try to imagine how kevin must feel after being a bystander for years of jean’s own torture and abuse. and i wonder what sort of things kevin still hears riko saying in his head?

it’s not just anyone’s prejudice kevin is thinking about. it’s not his career broadly that he’s thinking of…. it’s the perfect court and its king! kevin wasn’t allowed to intervene to protect jean from riko’s violence but he tries to protect his court the only way he knows how: lie when you can and comply with the rules when you can’t
