Gushul art residency
I have just started my time at the Gushul art residency and what a story so far. After the 8 and a bit hour plane ride with my mum then to take on a 7 hour time difference was a battle. We then had a 3 hour give or take as we got very very lost (Brits with no direction ha) also out GPS a.k.a sat nav decided it was time to pack up we where just using our wits until we came across a petrol garage and got some help yay! Back on the road our journey begun and the closer we got to the mountains the more breath taking it was. Such stunning views that i have never encountered before. Once we arrived we crashed out until we were very in considerably woken by a roaring train at 2am. Which I thought (no joke) was heading our way to crash into our building not even 24 hours into the trip. Well that obviously didn’t happen so we avoided a train wreck ha! So that sums up me and my mums arrival it’s sunny and bright and so far everything is alright…
I’ll be in Crowsent Pass for June working away in the incredible Gushul studio. The light in this place is wild...
