Wei Wuxian’s eyes widened further with each description, until his head sank down onto the arms he'd folded against the counter, a groan escaping his mouth.

“Stop, please,” he said. “This all sounds so good I’m worried I’ll dive face-first into the boxes the moment I step out of here...have mercy and tie those boxes extra tight, won’t you?”

And if Lan Wangji was a little generous with his packing, already having made up his mind to provide double what the man had asked for at no additional charge….well, that was because it was the end of the selling day, and these pastries were all going to a team of well-deserving healthcare workers.
