In the first season of The Expanse, tensions rise between Earth, Mars, and the Belt when an ice hauler is destroyed by mysterious forces. The surviving crew of the hauler hunts for answers while a detective on Ceres looks into a missing woman who is connected to it all.
Miller hangs out with his colleagues and meets with contacts in a bar and noodle shop on Ceres which was filmed in the former Guvernment Entertainment Complex shortly before it was demolished.
Throughout several episodes Avasarala meets with Errinwright in the lobby of the United Nations annex. The distinctive truss structure belongs to Roy Thomson Hall, also featured prominently in X-Men.
Avasarala meets the Undersecretary in his offices in the United Nations headquarters. In episode three, she meets with the Franklin DeGraaf after he is fired. This building is the Corus Quay Building belonging to Corus Entertainment which previously was used in Orphan Black.
Avasarala talks to Carlos Davilla while out with her grandchildren in episode six to convince him to give her access to his spy aboard Tycho Station. They are walking through the underwater tube at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada.
Alex & Amos have drinks in a Tycho Station club and Naomi & Holden drink in a more sedate bar on the same station. Both of these places are located within the Guvernment Entertainment Complex.
Avasarala heads to Franklin DeGraaf’s house in Anchorage in episode nine to give her condolences to his husband and to root around in his office. His home is at 9 New Street in Yorkville.
I still need to identify Avasarala's house, the U.N. blacksite exterior, and Holden's family’s farming collective.
