Well, what I do is I use a different email for my school things and then I have a personal one for social networks and person things. You could do that. And it wouldn't be lying. I do it as a way to keep my things separate and organized so...

as long as you don't have your last name anywhere on this blog, they shouldn't be able to find you easily. maybe give them an email you didn't use for this account? i honestly don't think they look as much into tumblr as facebook or twitter c:

yeah I used a different e-mail. but ugh I feel like I'm lying to them if i tell them a different email and what if they like trace it back to this tumblr and catch that i lied to them ugh

Tbh, I don't think they care about Tumblr. Like, do colleges expect you to not have any social networking? No. My cousin goes to an Ivy League school, and he has a full album on Facebook dedicated to his lunch lady's ass bc she's really fat and used to bend down next to his lunch table. They're pretty lenient. (also I've had this written for literally 10 mins but I forgot to push ask ugh I'm an idiot)

Yeah but do they really want someone with a ton of pictures and someone who swears at their school?

Hey you! So I'm the anon woo. Anyway, they can't track your email or anything, but they do google your name according to what I've heard from older people. So it's better if you don't really use your name for your youtube or whatever meh

yeah I won't give out my last name but like, almost every tumblr famous person has their last name and I know for a fact that people from my school have a tumblr & they'll find me and what if they like say my last name idk. + i heard from someone in the US that like you insert your email for something for college and they can like track all your accounts idk tho omg (ps im posting this and if you want me to delete it i will xo)

I don't really think a college is going to look at your tumblr, and even if they do its not as if you've started a hate blog or a porn blog and even if you have a BLOG is to express your feelings without anyone else's hearsay. so yea

tbh no. and honestly i dont think they'll even understand tumblr, and the only 2 things they really check out are facebook & twitter.

Okay so I've applied to colleges, and your life online really has nothing to do with whether or not you get into a good college. As for the whole your mom thing, if she doesn't know what tumblr is, you can try and convince her that's it's something similar to club penguin (lol idk) or weheartit and that it's just pretty inspirational pictures and whatever. Meh idk good luck c:

like what if i posted a q&a video and there were innapropriate questions like "have you ever had sex" and I was like "yes I am" (I havent but yeah) 

so like I don't want to be unaccepted to a college bc of that..
