im 99% sure if gw2 didn’t have the best fashion selection + dyes + character creation, it would be a dead mmo
tbqh my favorite thing about TC/GW2 RP is that people put active work and thought into how their characters make money, and in turn it creates all these awesome player made things that others can interact with

guys, gw2 is going to have trial accounts very soon and you should totally give the game a shot. the living story season 2 content is like playing a solo RPG game at times so it feels like you have two games in one. not to mention we get updates every two weeks that change and alter the world and mini updates between that. solo "home" instances, dyes galore for your armor, hair styles that are hella pretty, dynamic dungeons and dynamic pvp and there's no subscription once you buy it. check it outtttttttttttt!
Now, with the Megaserver, there is no division. I am forced into a server with people who, in my mind, do nothing but spam the chat and make annoyances. To add insult to injury, ANet has apparently been too short sighted to consider this might be a problem. Blocking someone does nothing to stop their emotes, and you have to manually add someone to the block list via the friends panel if they are using nothing but emotes, as you can’t right click on an emoted name.
honestly the best part about megaservers is watching pve/pvpers complain about shit rpers have been trying to say for two years now
