I have a grim flayer out, with a sorcery, land and artifact in my graveyard. I then lightning bolt my own grim flayer, does he live or die? Thanks!

Lightning Bolt resolves and deals 3 damage to Grim Flayer.
When state-based actions are checked immediately after Lightning Bolt finishes resolving, Grim Flayer is a 4/4 creature with 3 damage marked on it, so it lives.
Lightning Bolt went to the graveyard as the last step in its resolution and so Grim Flayer is now buffed by its delirium ability before SBAs check to see if anything should die.
