“You don’t have to push me, y’know.” James insists, glancing up at Gwen as she pushes him towards the festival. He doesn’t particularly want to be here, especially not considering he’s still in his chair. As much as he feels up to walking the doctors are insisting he has to heal more and do more physical therapy before he’s up and about too much, and between that and the fact that Tony’s still laying low, the festival isn’t really where he wants to be.
Still, the hero ban was something he supported and he needs to be here to show that, so he’s here. And he’s grateful for Gwen and the fact that she’s here with him - she’d gone to such an effort to decorate his chair just for the event, and he doesn’t want to waste that, so at least they can keep each other company. “You doing okay up there?” He asks mildly, turning his gaze back to the crowd they’re approaching.
