At the mention of a sprained ankle, Aoife’s interest was slightly raised.  “I suppose I can take a look” she said, sitting the file folder down and grabbing a pair of examination gloves from her desk. “Take a seat and I’ll exam it” she said, gesturing to one of the chairs in her office. “Hopefully you just twisted it.”

“Be my guest” said Wren with a casual shrug of her shoulders. Her smile grew slightly as the other woman spoke about the starfish. “I think they’re amazing, anyway” she said. “I just hope I’m able to bounce back as quick as they are.” But her own personal history told her that was unlikely, and she just hoped she didn’t fall back into her old habit of drinking to try and cope with the pain she was feeling. Returning the blonde’s handshake, she said “I’m Wren. Its nice to meet you, although obviously I wish it were under different circumstances.” How much nicer this conversation would have been if it was taking place in the safety of one of their palaces, surrounded by family and friends instead of pirates with an unknown agenda.

                𝐍𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐀 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐓 of the Irishwoman. The only person she thinks that would show up is Vasilia. She was a bit down lately and skipping mealtimes, and in the end, she got the flu. She was looking at nothing, when she heard the steps, entering on her room. ❛ How did you find me? ❜ The crown princess was intrigued. Honestly? That island was small, it easy to find any fellow royal around, if they know the right pirate to ask. ❛  You don't have to! ❜ In regards to waiting for her to finish the soup, but she took it, even though she wasn't hungry and disgusted by food.  Hesitantly, she took the soup and the spoon. ❛ I can't get to rid of you easily, can I? ❜ She quirked a brow before, sighing deeply and eating her food.

It’s not like she could argue with a semi-valid point. When it’s winter you normally reach for a can of soup. Or even when you’re sick your first instinct is to make chicken soup. Devyn didn’t meet anyone who hates soup for any reason, nor does she actually believe she will, and she dared for someone to prove her wrong.  Swallowing the gulp of soup she had just put in her mouth she looked up at the princess before nodding her head. “Something I definitely agree with you there. You can join me if you want?”
