i feel like it's an issue for comic book adaptations in general where people will treat you like you're crazy for suggesting that writers and artists and creators should be seeing some kind of recognition and paycheck for the inclusion of their work [whether that be their characters, their writing being ripped word for word, their artwork, etc.] in a big budget movie or tv show. comic book creation is not some kind of mystical industry where everybody involved is nameless and faceless <- Which does seem to be the mentality behind the people who consume these adaptations. i have met so many mcu fans that have no clue how comics work & i feel like it's very apparent that they do not see the medium as something deserving of respect in most cases But whatever
