Detail pics of the Gyarados hat-- just for you. :)  This monster goes up for sale in my Etsy shop this Saturday at 12 pm central for $315.  I realize that is quite an investment, so I want you to see the details involved.  

There is an adjustable component, which I decided was necessary after my husband borrowed *COUGHstoleCOUGH* my first one for several days in a row, and it was suddenly too loose on me.  The adjustment string fixes any sizing issues, and I've been happy with it so far.  

I tried to only use stuffing for parts I felt required it, so it is not too heavy or uncomfortable.  Once adjusted properly, it is actually quite comfortable (not super warm, but reasonably so).

It has four teeth, and the corners are pronounced to maintain the rectangular shape of Gyarados's mouth.

The eyes... took the most trial and error to get the result I wanted, so yeah.  Look at them and their awesomeness. :)  That's all on that.

Please feel free to ask questions!!  Photos just don't do this beauty any justice, but I will do my best to show or explain any details you want to know more about!

I am prepared to announce sale information for my Gyarados hat!! I have only a bit left to do, so I will be placing it up for sale in my Etsy shop this Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 12:00pm central time. As for the price tag... I have been terrified to do the math for pricing this thing, and I am even more terrified to say... Priced appropriately for the amount of work, I would have to charge $460. However, that number is super scary, and after a lot of thought, I have decided that I am more comfortable with $315. Hopefully that will be a compromise to make it a little more accessible while maintaining the value of my work. I realized I haven't posted this on tumblr yet. This is an epic gyarados hat I designed. I plan on making more to sell, but as I'm sure you can guess, it is quite time consuming to make. Follow for updates! :)
