Who would be the big spoon?
They sleep so tangled up in the covers that it’s not a question who’s the big spoon, it’s more of a question of “Why do they look like a whisk?” They probably move around a lot in their sleep so it makes no matter who’s what. One hour of the night it’s Zo, then it’s Gylan for the next hour.
Who would wake up first?
I imagine Gylan is more prone to waking up first since Zoelin is the type to pull all nighters with working in the shop with Finnick or doing some other huge project. There are moments when Zoelin doesn’t sleep at all for days so she probably is the one waking him up with coffee and bacon as though she’s not tired at all.
"Hey sleepyhead, have a nice dream?"
"Yes but—hang on did you even sleep?"
"-slowly sips coffee- ….Nope."
Do they have nicknames for each other?
Shiny Pirate (Gylan to Zo) and Invisi-Ninja (Zo to Gylan). I also like to imagine Zo calls him Babe a lot. No idea why she does, she just calls him babe. Aye babe.
What happened when they met each other’s parents?
In the alien universe, Gylan did meet Zo’s dad once but the man brought a bazooka with him and chased him all over the base after he saw how close he and Zo were so clearly that went well.
I think Zoelin has met Gylan’s father before but his mother was barely around as she was too busy cooing over Gylan’s little sister. She likes Gylan’s dad better anyway, he’s a big burly bear…lizard guy.
As for GKNDU, I think the same would happen here (less drastic with guns mind you), I think he’d come around to Gylan with that sly scary type of joking. At first he’s joking but then his face grows dead serious and Gylan doesn’t know what to believe so he looks to Zo who’s too busy making secret handshakes with Gylan’s dad. hahaha.
How do they apologise after an argument?-They’re really not the type to typically argue over things, both of them are very open to communication while also endearingly being able to talk things over before doing stuff. If they did argue it’d probably be a fake arguement just to tease someone. They understand each other really well not to argue.
Unless it’s the last pizza slice.
What would they be like as parents?Together they’re both those weird awesome parents that let their kids terrorize the neighborhood within reason. Gylan is the more responsible parent, Zoelin is the more fun parent. Initially at first Zoelin was afraid of being a mom since her own mother was gone before she turned 6 years old and she can’t grow a beard like her dad so that leaves her in a spot of what to do.
But eventually she finds her stride in it all.
Who is the better cook?
They both are. Zoelin prefers barbequing and outdoor cooking, so Gylan makes some dishes he found through recipes online.
Who is more romantic?
I’d say Gylan is hands down. Zoelin is that more buddy-buddy borderline friends-with-benefits kind of romantic person while Gylan knows how to romance and swoon his lady.
What sort of gifts do they get for each other?
Gylan easily doesn’t have to worry about disappointing Zoelin because whatever it is, it’s usually something that’s slightly glittery so she’d be happy either way. One time he bedazzled his skin and gifted himself but that sadly backfired when she tried to keep him as a model in her room. She was joking but then it got too far when she refused to let him go pee.
As for Zo, she’s more perceptive than she leads on to be so she sneakily gets Gylan things that she knows he’d like or random items that she built she knows he needed or would actually use (and they do work, thankfully).
Who gets jealous easiest?
Neither them are prone to jealousy, actually?
Who gets more excited for events e.g.. Birthdays, Christmas?
They both do. Zoelin’s more open about her emotions and Gylan is more chill but he easily gets roped into her enthusiasm.
Who is the most adventurous?
Zoelin.. Hands down. She’s all HRAAAAAH LET’S DO THE THING. WHO CARES IF WE SINGE OFF OUR EYEBROWS, IT’LL BE AWESOME.
Meanwhile Gylan has to think it over a lot first, but he’s adventerous if it’s something interesting (and safe) to him.
Who is the most protective?
Again. IT’s Zoelin. It helps when a girl knows her way around hacking computers and making a mini-carrot missile/taser hybrid out of used car parts and a salad shooter.
