#GymConfessions ... I haven't been faithful to my routine lately ! 😌
#gymconfessions
The gym. It's a place of painful and sometimes embarrassing agony, but less so when you go with your best friend. The gym suddenly becomes less painful and more fun. Painful fun. It's like 50 Shades of Grey but in the gym. Minus the hot guy always trying to sleep with you and just the hot guy judging you for not being able to do one push-up.
I figured out that the only way I was going to survive the gym was to force my girlfriend to join with me. Let's now fast forward a couple months to us doing sit-ups. Trying to do sit-ups. Ok, we were just laying there pretending like we were about to do sit-ups. Anyway, so there we were, "doing sit-ups", when suddenly my girlfriend says to me "I have M&M's in my purse. Hashtag gym confessions" And that was all it took for the gym to suddenly become our confessions spot. It was like confessing at church except instead of knowing that the priest is judging you even though he's not supposed to, you're confessing to a friend who's judging you openly. It was marvellous!
As we continue our gym visits and confessions, I would like to share some of the more magical moments with all of you and will continue to update the list as time goes on. Enjoy!
"I have M&M's in my purse"
"I have not been able to stop farting the entire time we've been here"
"I slept with him"
"I had two dinners tonight"
"I slept with her ex"
"I just peed a little"
Can people just stop with the gymternet wars? It's getting to the point where it's stressful going on a gymnast's tag. People have different likes and dislikes, different beliefs etc. and it's not okay to diss somebody, especially when you don't know even half of what they've been through for a 50 seconds routine. Can't we just enjoy gymnastics for what it is? Sure, there are moments when you don't agree with a rule or a win or something that has happened, but that's life. Not everything is as you like. What I know is, whatever gymnasts you like, even if the rest can't stand her, nobody can take away the pride and joy you will get when watching them win. When in doubt, think of that, and that facts are facts, no matter what. You can't go back in time and change things, however much you may want it.
Also, wishing an athlete an injury is the most disgusting thing, it's disrespectful and childish, and not at all funny. Maybe you should have an injury or accident, and have your dreams taken away from you, just as you were reaching for them.
gymfanconfessions not really your fault, but the shit that people send..it's disgusting I don't know how you can stand it.
People need to stop with the BS
So many freakin confessions about how that gymnast should've won, or that one shouldn't have won that and this and it's just ..stupid ok? No matter what you say or how much we debate it, Gabby is still going to be the 2012 AA Champion, Mckayla will still have fallen regardless of whether she's the best or not, Mustafina will still have won those 4 medals even if people like it or not. Facts are facts and it's pointless really to debate certain truths.
And also, we should be a little more careful when choosing our words: I mean, who are we to judge them, when they're the ones who work hard in the gym every day of their lives for 1.30 routine? And when it's not perfect, trust me, they're disappointed with themselves as well, no need to act like we're gymnastics Gods.
Gym Confessions.
Let me get this straight...
THIS is listed as a hate confession on gym confessions
BUT THIS ISNT.
THE FUCK?
