Sadly this is how I feel since season 2 started. I keep reading and hope he gets back to make MTMTE feel how it used to feel but it's just always piling up the 12-year old kid fantasies.

The killswitch was the first point in the comic I thought "No, this is too much. This is too silly, stop it." but he went on with a second LL that was completely slaughtered, with characters being killed off for the sake of it, with supernatural uber characters that take the fun out of everything (for me).

Now we are in some sort of Nazi regime where lower "races" are killed off so the better ones could be refined. This is so wrong and yeah I am German and I was made watch tons and tons of videos of the holocaust in school so maybe it's me just being touchy with this issue but DAMN you can have a climax without blowing somebody's face off or ripping his spine out or have a big group of people being killed in the most violent way possible.

BUT in the end this comic is not written for me. A lot of readers enjoy it the way it is so when I really can't take all this anymore I'll just drop the comic and stay with RID.

I like Roberts' writing a lot. I just don't like the content of it recently.

I miss that subtle darkness we had in season 1. God, I miss it so much.

ship with: Spike Witwicky, Sam Witwicky, Thundercracker, Sky Quake, and Dreadwing. And sometimes Knock Out and Smokescreen. That's across a few continuities, I know, but I do. XD

brotp: Spike Witwicky, and Thundercracker. He was pretty chummy with Seaspray, too.

general opinions: I like Bumblebee in pretty much all of his versions. Whether he's bit of a sarcastic sidekick who hangs out with the kids, or a full fledged killer in the Bay verse who can rip out ravage's spine.

I'm mostly just a sucker for Bumblebee themed anything. :D

Hello! Um, I'm still new to the Transformers fandom, so I was hoping if I could ask you about a thing I still have to understand - who or what is 'maccadam'. Like, wiki vaguely describes it as a character, but then why is he often used as a common tag for transformers in general?

okay so if you've ever searched the transformers tag around the time a bayformers movie trailer comes out, you'll probably have noticed it's riddled with repeated posts and things that aren't transformers and pictures of actors and more irrelvant stuff and a bit of spam and general garbage, which can make it hard to find good posts (and original posts that haven't been stolen and reblogged )or comics posts or cartoon posts or basically anything you might want to reblog in general

the maccadam tag - which i believe comes from maccadam's bar on cybertron - (and also the mtmte tag) is a recognisably transformers-ish tag that helps to filter out that kind of irrelevant stuff and makes life just a little easier if you're into tracking tags

ofc it doesn't mean you're not going to miss stuff, but it's a fairly good compromise

although that being said, given it's been a while since the bayformers trailer came out, the tf tag isn't actually as bad as it could be :D
