lol Alright. So how about Nautica ?

ship with: Brainstorm or Nightbeat could be cute. She's got chemistry with both of them, and she's clearly both of their types considering Perceptor and Quark.

brotp: Chromia, Brainstorm or Nightbeat. 

general opinions: I think she's fine. Generally I think she's cute. I love her design a lot (we need more boatformers! She's a sub, but I'll take it), and the wrench. She was cute in Dark Cybertron. *tiny shrug*

But after reading her part for a while, she started to remind me of Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony (smart, cheery, lots of common sense, a little more respect for the rules, really looks up to one person, etc) and then I just sort of started not quite disliking her, but more like constant inner sighing because I kept thinking of Twilight when i saw her. XD;

((I liked Twilight Sparkle fine in Friendship is Magic, but the show stopped being about all six girls, and slowly turned it's way into the "Twilight is the most super special out of all of us" show and I got bitter since out of the six, she was my second to least fav. XD;;))

ship with: Too many. Skyfire, Megatron, Soundwave, Windblade, and whoever else. At the moment Windblade and IDW Starscream are owning me. XD

brotp: Megatron and Soundwave

general opinions: Love him. He's great and I like him as both a joke and a threat. Make him both and it's perfect. XD

Soundwave

ship with: Blaster, Starscream, and Senator Ratbat

brotp: Shockwave and Megatron

general opinions: I tend to like a Soundwave that most of the fanbase dislikes. XD His Masterpiece figure box talks about a Soundwave who's only out for himself, and what information he can get--and I love that. Loyal Soundwave is great and all, but Soundwave obsessed with gathering intel and communications for his own blackmail and need for info is better. XD

And I love his cassettes. :D

Bumblebee!

character: hate them | don’t really care | like them | LOVE them | THEY ARE MY PRECIOUS

ship with: Spike Witwicky, Sam Witwicky, Thundercracker, Sky Quake, and Dreadwing. And sometimes Knock Out and Smokescreen. That's across a few continuities, I know, but I do. XD

brotp: Spike Witwicky, and Thundercracker. He was pretty chummy with Seaspray, too.

general opinions: I like Bumblebee in pretty much all of his versions. Whether he's bit of a sarcastic sidekick who hangs out with the kids, or a full fledged killer in the Bay verse who can rip out ravage's spine.

I'm mostly just a sucker for Bumblebee themed anything. :D

For the character meme: Swindle

ship with: No one, really. Don't really think about him enough.

brotp: The other Combaticons.

general opinions: Swindle's okay. I find him amusing when he's on screen, and I like that he's a business man through and through. I like that in G1 and TFA he does business with everyone from humans, to Decepticons to Autobots to whoever's got money. That's a fun character type.

But otherwise I don't think about him much. 

My only 100% is that Fred Willard in TFA is my favorite, and will always be my favorite, actor to play his character. There was just something so perfect about it that puts every other version to shame. That's his voice for me. XD

Windblade

character: hate them | don’t really care | like them | LOVE them | THEY ARE MY PRECIOUS

ship with: Starscream (OTP <3), Chromia, and funny enough, Ironhide. 

brotp: Chromia - I ship Chromia and Windblade when I’m in a mood, but I honestly prefer the best friends thing. Like a lot. I love their friendship. It’s very important to me. 

general opinions: I really like her. XD Which I’ve discussed in length often before.

But the short version: I adore how immediately and visually feminine she is (from her body style & helm style to her personality & demeanor), and that she’s a character who’s growing instead of immediately showing up as perfect and all together. 

Plus she’s reckless and compassionate and good grief do I love compassionate, forgiving characters.

It’s one of the reasons I loved Rodimus so much prior to MTMTE. All he did was giving second chances without a second thought. And that’s important. You need characters like that to balance out all the paranoid and suspicious ones.
