[TRENDING] Singer Lime revealed to have been diagnosed with Lupus
On October 10th, 2015, fans caught the idol walking out of the hospital looking dazed. Many fans recall her bad health the past couple of weeks due to pain in her joints. Today, her company has released a statement about her frequent trips to the hospital.
“Hyelim has been spending a lot of time in the hospital due to her declining health as it gets colder outside. She was recently told that she has Lupus, an autoimmune disease that tricks her immune system to attack healthy tissue. She has started to seek treatment and after she is finished with promotions, she will be taking a long break to fully take care of herself.”
The artist herself posted on Twitter and other social media about her struggles with her diagnosis and how she should have known earlier.
“Hello everyone. This is Lime. You all must know by now that I have Lupus. I’m still the same person. However, I do get sick easily and I must take care of myself carefully. I got sick a lot when I was younger and all the signs were there but I never knew that this would be the cause of it all. They said that it significantly increased in activity the past couple months and that’s why I’ve been more sick this past couple of weeks. I suggest that everyone educate themselves on Lupus. I will still continue perform as Lime but keep in mind that my health is very important to me.”

Hot artist, Lime is releasing another full length album ‘NEVERLAND’. Once again she has taken charge of all of the producing and lyric writing but this time she goes with a Peter Pan concept. We sat down with the artist again for an inside scoop of all her songs.
Her introduction song, 2nd Star was something she had made a few days before her album was complete. It’s twinkling sound and dark bass is supposed to give a haunting, creeping feeling as she sneaks up to capture the heart of her audience.
Fly Away is the second song on the album and has an enchanting melody as she tries to convince her lover to fly away with her to Neverland. She even revealed that she softly raps in the song.
Her title track, Grown Up, is sung from the perspective of a girl who is telling everyone to stop living life so seriously and have fun. She says that it was inspired by Peter Pan himself and that her crazy hair color is supposed to show her childlike and fun side. Her ‘lost girl’ concept. The song is fun and loud with electronic elements.
Lime returns us to her sweet ballads with soft electronic elements with Darling as she describes her ideal type. She says that its hard to meet her ideal type and that she really does want to meet someone like that person in her song. Darling is a perfect transition to the next song, Lost which is a synth track about finding your path through ‘society’s’ eyes and expectations. “Live your dreams they way you want to, don’t become lost in someone else’s dreams.” is a short line from the song.
Her album picks up again with Catch Me (Tick Tock), a song she describes as evilly sweet with its electronic sounds and ticks. It’s about a couple who haves a magical relationship but feels their love fading and the girl teases the boy by asking him to catch her and pull her back in before time runs out.
Lagoon is where the album takes a sexy turn with a dark guitar melody and water drops as the bass. “Let me draw you in and drown you in a world that is me, leaving you a hopeless mess.” are just a few words from the mermaid inspired song as she sings about giving her lover an unforgettable love.
Cannon is just like it sounds, a booming, sexy song where Lime doesn’t sing but raps. She wanted to let her ‘haters’ to take their best shot at her and let them know that it wouldn’t hurt her.
The album continues with its new sexy vibe but in a lighter and innocent way as it takes us to the time when Wendy gives Peter a thimble and called it a kiss. The song, Thimble takes the scene as inspiration as a girl says that she doesn’t want a naive romance anymore, she doesn’t want a thimble kiss but a real one instead.
Hook is a dark and raw tune, suiting Lime’s lower range as she sings about the rejection she felt from her first love, how he ‘hook’ed her and left her. Hyelim originally made it a ballad but the lyrics were too aggressive for it. The song serves as a perfect transition to Poison which is equally raw and dark but in a slower melody. The song talks about giving up everything for love and is revealed to be inspired by Tinkerbell’s dedication for Peter.
Pow-Wow is a jazzy, swing style of seduction as it picks up the whole album again. It is solely a party song to fit the mood of summer. However, the final song on the album, Grown Up Vers. 2, is a ballad from the perspective of Peter who is contemplating growing up for his Wendy so he doesn’t lose her.
Within just two days of the release of her first full length album 'Looking Glass', Hyelim (with the help of her fans and Angels) saw her songs 'Not Alice', 'Phoenix' and 'Wonderland' top charts and recieve an all-kill. Hyelim is performing her songs for the first time tomorrow evening and it seems that she's off to a good start.
