[TRENDING] Singer Lime revealed to have been diagnosed with Lupus
On October 10th, 2015, fans caught the idol walking out of the hospital looking dazed. Many fans recall her bad health the past couple of weeks due to pain in her joints. Today, her company has released a statement about her frequent trips to the hospital.
“Hyelim has been spending a lot of time in the hospital due to her declining health as it gets colder outside. She was recently told that she has Lupus, an autoimmune disease that tricks her immune system to attack healthy tissue. She has started to seek treatment and after she is finished with promotions, she will be taking a long break to fully take care of herself.”
The artist herself posted on Twitter and other social media about her struggles with her diagnosis and how she should have known earlier.
“Hello everyone. This is Lime. You all must know by now that I have Lupus. I’m still the same person. However, I do get sick easily and I must take care of myself carefully. I got sick a lot when I was younger and all the signs were there but I never knew that this would be the cause of it all. They said that it significantly increased in activity the past couple months and that’s why I’ve been more sick this past couple of weeks. I suggest that everyone educate themselves on Lupus. I will still continue perform as Lime but keep in mind that my health is very important to me.”
